Professional Adventure Lifestyle Sport, and Travel Photographer
Timothy Faust has been a professional photographer for almost two decades. He has taken his passion for storytelling though imagery and combine it with his love for mountain biking, skiing, climbing, rafting, and travel.
The Adventure Concept is about more than just adrenaline sports. Timothy sees the concept as an important component of branding and communication. It is not just about the top athletes he has photographed like Peter Croft and Tao Berman. It is about the desire for adventure inside every person. It isn’t just about the climber who skis from the Summit of Everest, but the family that skis a green run in Colorado for the first time. This is the concept that guides him in every aspect of his commercial and editorial work whether working with professional athletes or photographing mountain homes.
Based in Breckenridge, Colorado, Timothy is minutes away from some of the top mountain biking and ski destinations in North America. He chose to settle in this location in 2004 partly for the ability to be able to ski or bike from his front door, but also because it is only 90 minutes to a major international airport. As a result he has photographed in 49 out of 50 U.S. states and 20 countries.
Our Partners include magazines like National Geographic Adventure, Outside, Trail Runner, Men’s Journal, and ChillFactor. Our commercial partners include international companies like Vail Resorts, as well as regional companies like Alpine Bank, Raptor Construction, and the Breckenridge Tourism Office. Timothy’s photography has won numerous awards including 1st place in the Intrepid Travel Landscape contest, Runner up in the National Geographic Adventure of a Lifetime contest, and First Place in the Teva Mountain Games Photo Competition.
